In the manufacture of textiles, the yarn is subjected to high levels of mechanical stress. BTC Speciality Chemical Distribution offers BASF products as Pluriol® A, E and P types, Plurafac® and Pluriol® types which are used in the textile industry as fibre lubricants. • Inhibit foam formation
  Products from Degressal®, Plurafac® and Pluriol® ranges can be used to inhibit foam formation.
• Detergents, emulsifiers and wetting agents
  Surfactants from Lutensol®, Lutensit® and Emulan® ranges can be employed as detergents, emulsifiers and wetting agents in a variety of different processes. More specific information on surfactants is available on the BASF website.
• Additives in textile processing and textile finishing
