Colourants for printing inks

BTC Speciality Chemical Distribution supplies Heliogen®, Lithol®, Paliotol® and Sico® organic pigments for the manufacture of printing inks. They include special pigments for all printing processes: offset, flexo gravure inks and UV-inks. Our range also contains Dispers pigment preparations for water-based inks and Basonyl® dyes for alcohol-based inks - both of which are used for flexo - and special printing - as well as Neozapon® dyes for flexographic and gravure printing. BASF's inorganic magnetic pigments were developed for the production of magnetizable printing inks.
BTC also offers Alkali Blue® pigments for use as toners in black inks and for printing brilliant red shade blue in colour matching systems (PMS, HKS). For detailed information on colourants please see our product line 'Pigments, dyes and preparations'.

Resins for printing inks and overprint varnishes

BTC’s product line of resins covers solvent borne and radiation curable printing inks and overprint varnishes. Laroflex offers a range of established raw materials for gravure printing applications on packaging. Acronal L and F as well as Lutonal® products are recommended as adhesion promoters. The use of these soft resins significantly increases adhesion especially on composite polymer films. For solvent-free printing inks and overprint varnishes BTC Speciality Chemical Distribution provides the Laromer raw materials for the formulation of resistant radiation curing silk-screen, offset and flexographic printing inks.
