BTC is a subsidiary of the BASF group, the world's leading chemical company.

BTC’s history
In 1997, the BASF group created a Belgian and Dutch subsidiary : BASCOM Belgium and BASCOM The Netherlands in charge of the distribution of chemical specialities in small and medium quantities.
In 2003, BASF creates a European network of speciality chemical distribution by regrouping, under the name BTC, all companies with the same goal as BASCOM Belgium and BASCOM The Netherlands.
