Spring is once again treating us to a show of magnificent colour. Turquoise provides a particularly fresh touch, combining both the calming and stimulating aspects of its base colours blue and green. The coatings industry now has access to a new blue-green pigment to enhance the quality and look of various interior and exterior applications.
Turquoise is often associated with the feeling of a holiday by the sea, triggering positive feelings in the beholder. Pigments in this colour are therefore ideal for eye-catching coatings. As part of its ongoing innovation, BTC has now added the blue-green pigment to its portfolio.
“Our Sicopal® colour palette already covered large parts of this spectrum. The greenish-blue hue of our Sicopal® Turquoise EH 3475 (L 8215) now completes it,” reports Albert Ensenyat, Business Manager for Pigments at BTC. “We are now also offering our customers this inorganic colour pigment in the proven Sicopal® quality.” It is listed in the Colour Index (CI) as PG 50.
Sicopal® Turquoise EH 3475 (L 8215) impresses with a high colour strength and outstanding coverage. Its high alkali resistance even makes it ideal for decorative applications, including silicate façade systems. The high-performance inorganic pigment shows impressive resistance to heat and chemicals.
