The brands Cegepal® and Sett® are fat powder blends consisting of hydrogenated coconut oil on a carrier system of protein and carbohydrates. These products can be widely used in food applications where powdered fat ingredients are required, like ice cream mixes, desserts and cake filling cream.

Properties

The Cegepal® and Sett® product range is available in powder form.
Stability: The product should be stored at temperatures between 16-24°C and has to be kept in a dry container and away from odor-intensive products.
In its unopened original package under the above pictured conditions the product has a shelf life of 12 to 24 months (type dependent).

Applications

The product Cegepal® can be used as a fat component in various kinds of food applications, e.g. cake mixes, cereals, desserts and cake filling cream, ice cream, soups and sauces as well as sport foods and dietary supplements to improve organoleptic properties as well as creaminess and mouth feel of the finished products. Cegepal® is not intended as an ingredient for food applications for infants under the age of 12 month.
The product Sett P 55 is a fat powder consisting of hydrogenated vegetable oil. This product can be used as a powdered fat component in various kinds of food applications, e.g. coating, confectionary or cereals.
