The recycling of plastics plays and increasingly important role for the life cycle of plastic articles. Special considerations need to be taken into account in view of plastics materials which have suffered some initial degradation during primary processing and service life. Such initial degradation is being aggravated by secondary processing and life cycle as stabilizers are being consumed.
