Properties and applications
Black OliveTM is a specialty mica based black effect pigment, coated with a cobalt ferrite. The champagne coloured undertone offers a wide spectrum of colour designs. This revolutionary product expands the range of absorption colours which are possible to be achieved with mica based pigments in the black and brownish colour palette.
Firemist® pigments are based on borosilicate glass which imparts the product range with high impact brilliant colours coupled with an amazing glitter effect and special vibrancy. This highly developed pigment group, which achieves extraordinary optical effects, have been developed so that they are able to exceed the standard pearl pigments in colour intensity, cleanliness, chroma transparency and power of reflection.
Firemist® Crystal Touch belongs to the Firemist® family and is normally recommended for printing applications, however, the effects are suitable for use in the textile industry.
The GlacierTM pigment range, from fine to sparkle, is based on synthetic mica and offers with the neutral esthetic appeal the opportunity to create a wide range of previously unachievable white surface appearances. This pearlescent white effect is characterized by a cool bluish reflection colour - which appears dazzling white to the eye.
The Graphitan® / Graphitan® Vintage Black range, a unique effect pigment with high colour strength, excellent hiding power,and unique matt black in pure shade colour formulations. Metallic effects without metal can be formulated. Sophisticated matt colour effects with high opacity in combination with other effect pigments metal free dazzling metallic effects.
The Lumina® / Lumina® Royal glimmer based line is characterized by narrow particles size distribution which gives an excellent chroma and clean colours which will help to open the existing colour space of your portfolio
The Lumina® Royal series is the consequent step of a continued research and development an even more controlled particle size distribution and special treatments which has led to this new range of mica based products with highest chroma, clean strong colours and reduced flop products guarantees highest flexibility by developing new shades.
The Mearlin® effect pigments based on mica are coated with titanium or different iron oxides to reach colour shades from pearly white covering all the interference colours of the rainbow. Semitransparent pigments cover the spectrum from light gold via brass and copper to deep metallic red. Combined with transparent organic pigments they offer a firework of different colour shades.
The Mearlite® pigments based on bismuth oxychloride crystals offer a mother of pearl effect and can be combined with almost all transparent organic pigments. The combination with black enables you to create metallic like smooth surfaces in decorative, printing, coating and plastic applications. Their primary use is for internal applications.
The MagnaPearl® mica based titanium coated pigments exhibit a high degree of whiteness combined with brilliance and hiding. They are available in a wide variety of particle sizes creating effects from velvet luster to silver white glitter.
Metasheen® this vacuum metalized aluminum pigments with different thicknesses offer a wide range of applications, with a high reflective mirror like surface and excellent hiding. The mirror effect depends significantly on the substrate and the application. In textile coatings you can reach nice realistic metal like surfaces. They can be mixed with other pigments to open up the colour space. Depending on the coating system there are passivated products for WB systems are also available.
The Paliocrom® effect pigments based on cornflake or silver dollar aluminum coated with iron oxide. They offer a unique combination of excellent hiding, gloss and very high chroma. In combination with other pigments they expand the existing colour space and open many creative opportunities in colour design.
