Agro chemical additives > for crop protection

BTC offers an extensive portfolio of tools for the formulator of crop protection products. Our range for the pesticide inerts and adjuvants segments function as dispersants, wetting agents,

emulsifiers, solvents, and compatibilizers in building stable, effective, and safe formulations. Our micronutrients provide a highly bioavailable form of metal nutrient to plants.

Inert solvents & co-solvents for crop protection

Solvents dissolve active ingredients for crop protection. The solvent selection is depending on the active ingredient structure and the application technology. Polar solvents are used as co-solvent, besides a solvent for the active ingredient.

Brands of inert solvents & co-solvents

Propylene carbonate

Properties and applications of inert solvents & co-solvents

BTC offers water-insoluble solvents, water-soluble solvents and penetrants / base oils

for oil dispersions (OD) under the brand Agnique®. Agnique® products have a broad application field. Chemistry and use of the products can be seen in the product list aside.

γ-butyrolactone is a solvent with surfactant character.

Propylene carbonate is a polar solvent with low odour, low toxicity, low vapor pressure.

N-formylmorpholine is a polar solvent and building block for several active ingredients.
