Antiscratch Agents for the Plastic Industry
Properties such as scratch and impact resistance are becoming increasingly important, as the requirements for the service life of e.g. vehicles have increased dramatically in their first and second life cycles (i.e. after new purchase and first sale). Polyolefins can be scratched during automotive assembly and customer use. Polymer materials used in automotive applications for exterior cladding, bumpers, interior instrument, door panels, and seating components need improved scratch and mar resistance.
