Solvent extraction

BTS’s customers have access to the full range of solvent extraction reagent technology based on oximes and amines. The choices are limitless when it comes to reagent selection. Extraction reagents from BTC are low viscosity and low-density reagents designed for optimized metal recovery processes. LIX® liquid ion exchange reagents are used for copper recovery from leach solutions, mine waters and waste streams. LIX® 7820 reagent is used for gold and silver recovery from cyanide solutions. Applications of Alamine® and Aliquat® extraction reagents are the recovery of rare earth metals, molybdenum, vanadium, and uranium. In addition to its mining applications, Aliquat® is a valuable phase transfer catalyst in various processes in the chemical industry.
