BASF’s new Laromer® UA 9136 delivers excellent scratch resistance at lowest yellowing – combined with outstanding chemical resistance.
The special combination of properties makes this highly reactive aliphatic urethane acrylate, featuring medium viscosity, a good choice for any high-performance topcoat. Good weather resistance and perfect adhesion on inorganic substrates – like fiber cement boards, different plastics, or even wood – are additional benefits of Laromer® UA 9136.
This resin can be used for many different applications: from coating for PVC floorings to plastic parts for the automotive industry, e.g. motorcycle trim, where high scratch resistance as well as resistance to hydrolysis are required.
